    Welcome to the forum !

I would say that it's highly unlikely that you will find a specialist Volvo restorer in Cork - or all of Ireland for that matter.

I have listed some restorers in my 'specialist' thread who most likely could tackle many types of vehicles.

Can some one PM me if they know of anyone available to a bit of restoration of a Karmann Ghia, just dont want to take to Emilo, no particular reason, I'll just end up getting more done than I need.

there is not alot required, I just dont have the time or the space.

    Thanks

Nope. There's no specialist volvo restoration guy in Ireland. You'll have to go over to the UK if you specifically want a volvo shop.

If your main problem is rust you could be looking at a fairly major pricetag. Everything else is pretty affordable.

thanks guys - there is some rust but not too much. i know it could be expensive but i want to make sure it will be done properly. would prefer to get new panels rather than have some cowboy plaster it with filler.

:) Worth a phone call to Kilgarvan Motor Musuem (Surname Mitchell as far as I remember). They used to restore cars a couple of years back & seemed to be fairly good. Not sure if thes still do it. Always seemed to be fairly busy.

Has anyone tried Noel Broderick on the Newcasle road, (Lucan) I have seen a lot of Amazons go through there, in fact he is going to paint my Morris Minor Van, when I get it over to him.

I have seen Volvo's and other really old cars in his place stripped back for bare metal resprays.
