Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's windy out there, strongest mean since Feb 13th, certainly not stormy, gusts to 90km/h or 56mph, I wouldn't consider to be stormy.
    So far I've recorded 45mph.

Heads up, possible thunder and lightning later this afternoon on the east coast.

http://www.weatherimages.org/data/imag394.html , the sferics to the south are moving north, we may be in for an interesting and wet late afternoon here in Dublin .

yes my sister was on the phone, reporting a lot of rumbles.

Thankfully after masses of rain last night we appear to be missing most of the showers today.

    heh

looking at the radar,I dont know how we are missing them.
I'm just back from Arklow town whgere there was a massive shower but none here 3 miles inland.
From looking at that lightning detector, there was some in it,but I heard and saw nothing.

Looking at the radar though,I'm expecting some

Dunno how you are missing it Earthman! , has been raining on and off all morning and afternoon here with big heavy drops too. The thunder cell seems to have been isolated - its already passed over, and another is upon us, this time though its just pretty torrential rain.
That said could be more on one the way, plenty of showers on the way here looking at the radar.

Just a few drops thats all.
The black clouds have skirted around us so far, except on the coast.

Came across a lightning detector in Portumna Forest Park while out for a walk.
Think its ESB and Eircom.3 or 4 circular antennas and a box of tricks on a pole.Must take a pic the next time I see it.
