OK it's got it right 3 times in a row. That's freaky. I know there's a logical explanation but ...

[edit]Right... less freaky now that I look at it - didn't register the symbols changing the first couple of times. Regardless of what you choose, there's only certain numbers that you'll keep ending up on which all have the same symbol - basically all the multiples of 9. I remember multiples 9 has some interesting properties when you start adding the digits together - always came out as 9 in the end (i.e. 9891 = 9 + 8 + 9 + 1 = 27 = 2 + 7 = 9). Along the same lines, you seem to be able to get to a multiple of 9 always by adding any numbers digits and subtracting it from the original number - not sure how that works as a mathematical proof but it looks good.[/edit]

From what i worked out already its seems to be the symbol thats mainly on 9 if not 7...maybe this should move to mathematics forum for further investimagtion... :)

I agree Ixoy... you must be a genius, i was thinking the same sort of thing.
Tis indeed a very good use of maths.

    You need a calculator?

Multiples of nine... I'M FREAKING OUT!!! Nah, it's a good wheeze. And Stalfos, you should really work on your mental arithmetic... :p unless you occupy some parallel universe with bizarro laws of physics and such. Which would be cool, I have to say. Or anyway cooler than not being able to add and subtract :D .

AMAZING!!! What, I don't get is how it knows what shape you are looking at. Genius! It's like it can see ur eyes

As said above of the images are bogus. The only images that you can pick have all the same symbol.
For example, try picking two numbers at a time, notice how both numbers give the same symbol?

Ixoy proof seems to be on the right lines of how this thing works! Its way too early in the morning to try and understand it, so I'm going let it freak me out!

just look at the symbol beside 9 (and every multiple of 9) and theyre the same. that will always be the symbol you end up on.

Also, when you try again, it changes the symbol for every multiple of 9, so that it appears that it has managed to guess it right again - you think it has picked a different symbol because you picked a different number, but it has picked a different symbol because it has changed the symbol you will always get.

It's very easy. Take the multiples of nine. If you look at the symbol beside 81 it is the exact same as the symbol of 72 63 54 45 36 27 18 and these are all multiples of nine. Try with any other number. It's not magic, it's ****

i was thinking of sausages and it showed me a box!!! maybe it was a box of sausages!!!

Yah, no matter what number you end up with, it will always be a multiple of 9 - and all the multiples of 9 are the same.

Each time ya try it, it changes the symbol for the multiples of 9 so that it looks like it is fooling ya, when it isn't really :) Pretty cool trick all the same.
