Seeing as it is pretty much a foregone conclusion that Man U will run away with the premier league, who do youu think will come second?

Chealse, Leeds, Arsnel and liverpool the obivoius one but realy it could be any out of a lone list with teams like Sunderland, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Newcastle U, Lestier, Ipswich and the like been in with a shout but 2 name a few, Way 2 hard 2 call

Because Liverpool are a settled side w/ little or no disruption over the summer, I'd reckon they "should" come 2nd (but i've said that before)

Arsenals new signings may take time settle and Leeds still have the re-trial coming up in Nov.!

Theres no one else realistically. If I was to pick a team that may challenge for Europe it would be.... Fulham. They have some players who've been there, done it and got the T-shirt!

    Big Relegation Tip...

    Everton
Sold Jeffers and there absolutley flat broke! I'd expect Walter Smith to be pushed or jump ship by mid-October!!

According to Alex Ferguson it'll be Chelsea.

    Seriously though - Liverpool. I'm even putting £100 on Man U 1st, Liverpool 2nd and Arsenal 3rd

Can I just say i think blackburn are going to suprise a few teams this year.

They finsihed last year, clearly the best form team in division1, and are my tip for a top ten finish.

And I think Jansen, Dunn, and our own Damien Duff will be revalations this season.

    Eamo,
My flatmate is from Tothenham(spelling). and he cried the day I told him that Sol Cambell had gone to Arsenal biggrin.gif
Anyway Being a Liverpool I would like to see them put up a half decent challenge to ManuSh!ted. I reckon the start of the new season could be pretty cool with all the new signings smile.gif

We can agree to disagree on most of that statemant, but as for the form team .. If you followed Div1 last year, you would know Blackburn had a terrible start to the season.
I know the league isa full season, but Blackburn won more league points after Christmas than Fulham.
Also fulham were playing ok, and grinding results, while Blackburn were playing great to watch football, cutting teams open (ok division 1 teams, but you can only beat the team on front of you).

But seeing as this is the sports board, will you have a tenner with me that Blackburn finish higher than Fulham?
