Anyone as excited as i am about the new batman film!? Bring back the dark super-heroes living on the margins of society! The last comic book character-come film star that looked this dark was the crow. nothing can beat that but hopefully batman:beginnings will get close to it. anyone out there know anything about ken watanabe's (the guy from the last samurai) character Ra'-Al-Ghul?

Ra's Al Ghul in Wikipedia for the interested.

I'm certainly hoping for the best, and it looks great apart from some slight cheese in the trailers ("something is out there... Me!").

I'm certainly looking forward to it. Bales fast becoming 'the' actor to get if you want an edgy & dangerous (but intelligent) star to your movie so I think he'll suit this role perfectly.

This looks fantastic I'm also awaiting this, still I'd rather see The Dark Knight Returns.

After seeing that I was a little worried that the film might get a bit too rushed or busy trying to fit everything into it, especially if they were going to develop the characters as much as Nolan had promised. But now that I know (courtesy of IMDB) that its run-time is 134mins, I'm pretty confident in it.

So, Hitchhiker, Episode III and this. Might as well not leave the cinema.
