I don't particularly care, but i don't think that ferguson leaving will have a devastating affect on a team of such quality. But like i said i don't really care. biggrin.gif

If they were worried about Ferguson leaving, why are they are jumping to sign new contracts? It's not like they don't know he's leaving. And they have just signed some new quality players in Veron and Van Nistelroy, again these players knew that Ferguson was leaving. Anyway it's 1.44am and i'm off to bed. biggrin.gif

I dont really care either, all I know is that they better keep thier hands off Martin O'Neill

Indeed, let Martin stay where he is.

I'm sure united will manage to come up with some high quality manager with European experience to fill the post. There will always be people interested. They get a great team, loads of transfer money and their own pay check won't be half bad either.

There will always be a few good managers sacked or out of contract in Italy and Spain towards the end of the season. And, with Serie A managers only being allowed to work for one club per season that will give united plenty of time to talk to them.

Well fair enuf but i believe manu will find it hard 2 get some1 to want to try 2 live up 2 ferguson i mean who wants to leave a top class club to try 2 live up ferguson the man u fans will want instant success

You're doing a lot of wishful thinking Wolf. Any manager worth his salt should be able to come in and take charge of an already winning team. The only problem i could foresee would be player/manager disagreements and fallings out within the squad.

Oh and i'm in Toronto at the moment, so it actually was 1.44am. biggrin.gif

This will be the big issue. Whatever happens everyone will always refer to how Fergie would have "man-managed" the situation.

Its gonna be tough for united IMO. They should have made the break w/ him this season while no one else is really challenging UTD.

It'll take years to get Fergie out the System as such, no matter how succesful their next gaffer is.

OH & BTW, Martin Edwards if your thinking of making a swoop for Martin O'Neill, think again. You can shoove Fred the Reds poker where the sun dont shine, my Friend !! He's a CELT!

Thats what im talking about and alot of the top managers wont want to come to a club if they have to "fill FERGIES SHOES" if ya see what im sayin. The top eruo managers are mostly happy in there top eruo job why risk getting labbled a failure at man u just because beckham said this or scholesy said that???
