Not a bad old place TBH honest. The kids love it.
The only thing negative i know about it though is my family were there a few years ago and my cousin slipped on the tiles by the pool - bit of a gash on the back of his head ... and they didnt have a single first aid box in the whole f*ckin' place ... I'm sure they'd have that sorted out by now though.

I thought that had become a Refugee Housing location, or am I totally wrong?

There's a great waterpark in Bundoran if that's the sort of thing you're looking for...

Salthill in Galway has Leisureland and a fairground outside.

Or you could always sign up for the emails for last minute deals on Budget and Stein (though I think Stein can be quite picky). If you're just looking for somewhere fun for your daughter it should be easy enough to book your holidays from work and choose something from the last minute deals a week or so before. You'd easily get a week in Majorca or the Canaries or somewhere like that off peak (May/September) for the three of you for eight or nine hundred euros.

    Trabolgon is great fun!!
I remember thinking it was just the pool when I was very young, and as we got older and stayed there for a few days in one of the houses, we were allowed to do all the other stuff, archery, climbing, bowling, pool, crazy golf, going to the disco - I'd definately reccomend it anyway! - and the red coat type people will look after the kids for the evening, do competitions aswell (I think we did a treasure hunt one day, if memory serves me!)

I'm one of those fictitious people.

I brought my fictitious kids there many times. They loved it and it was good for us too as it's safe enough to let the kids wander around on their own, giving them some independance.

P.S. I live in a fictitious town called Rush :-)
