    Hey there...

I've been promising myself for about 9 - 10 years to get back to running and finally I've gotten up off my lazy ass and started putting in a few miles here and there.

The problem I have at the moment is that more often than not I'm training on my own and could really do with someone(s) to train with. I'm not a member of any club in Dublin although I may have to join somewhere if this doesn't work out. I usually get home from work at about 6pm and would be free anytime after that and am usually around at weekends as well.

I'm 28 and used to do middle distance running so I'd appreciate any help in finding somewhere to train...

    Thanks a lot :D

If you're from South Dublin, try Dundrum South Dublin (www.dsdac.com). The best advice I can give is to contact Eddie McDonagh and he can tell you what to do, contact details are on the website. And good luck with it. Keep it up

    Hey Squirrel,

Thanks for getting back. I actually live in Donnybrook so perhaps Dundrum may be a bit out of range as traffic would be pretty heavy in that direction in the evenings.

Is there anywhere a bit closer or would the UCD athletic club be an option???

    Cheers :D:D

I think you have to be a student to be in UCDs athletic club. DSD train out in Belfield some days during the week, that's the only club I know of out that direction though. I'll look out for you though

Crusaders AC, - they used to be based in Ballsbridge(one of the cricket grounds), they were talking of moving to Sandymount, not sure if they have yet, either should be convenient if living in Donnybrook.

they train in ucd on wednesdays(6pm) and saturdays(11am)
marley park on sundays (11am) but that is just juniors.the seniors will be out in ucd both days normally.
go onto dsdac.com and contact eddie.but crusaders are basically right beside you and could be handier but i see the crusader lads in marley.
