flashing??

    hi could anyone tell me what flashing is? i have a nokia 6230 and i think i need to get it updated to newer software. also have a 6100, its not the picture phone model, and it wont let me send on mms messages from the gallery. any advice?

    flashing means the fone has to be connected to a compooper and the software is flashed (more or less erazed) and the latest version is loaded on. thats not the techical term tho

    Slightly OT, but there's been a lot of mention of places around that will flash Nokias, is there anywhere that will Flash Ericssons? Specifically the P800?

    mobile fone repair co in sandyford industrial estate will flash a p800 in a couple of hours 01-2950907

    Nokia service centre on patricks quay if corkman is anything to go by. If ya flash the phone you could lose everything on the phone memory, pics, tones, msgs, numbers etc. Had a few peeved customers cos of that one......

    donot go to **** he is just fraud. he is a scumbag that buys and sells stolen fones.
    he doesnot have a club nokia agency so he will charge for all repairs.
    just go to a legit source like in car tech in bray, mprc in sandyford or even telephone centre in dawson street(these are all free for warranty repairs)
