Millets are doin are fairly nice package of a two man tent and two sleeping bags for €90 which is really only €45 each. Good quality tents too unlike dunnes i'd imagine. Most of you will probably say well its only going to get 2/3 days use so i'll just get the cheap one. For me though i'm going to a few festivals(oxegen, glasto, Electric picnic and rock-am-ring) so i reckon the millets one has a better chance of standing up to a hectic summer.

Last summer at glastonbury i brought a tent that was in bits from previous use(or misuse i should say) and when the roof started to leak from the rain i promised my self never to caught out again. Also it was funny to see the amount of tents left behind on the monday, some people really do just buy them for one use only

yea i just re-read my own post and it does sound a lot like i'm trying to sell tents so i've changed my mind, you should all bring plastic bags and sticks for your own diy tent :D

I picked up one of the tents in Dunnes a while back. If you're just intending to use it for camping at concerts during the summer, it'll do the job grand, it shouldn't be mistaken for a proper tent for all-weather camping though. It's only a single skin tent (decent ones have two layers of fabric for better water-proofing) so you'll also have to make sure not to leave your bag propped against the side or water will get through where the cloth is being touched.

After losing a decent tent to Oxegen's drunken antics last year (thank god I brought Plastic Bags and Ducktape, just call me Dr. Sleepy! :op) , I reckon you're best off to just use a cheap tent for rock concerts etc.

Dunnes also have sleeping bags for €15 that fold up into the tiny little swing bags. :)
