Not sure if this is the right forum but I'll try anyway. I have a packard bell audiodream 512 mp3 player that has gone tits up. It keeps restarting from the start up logo. Checked the PB website which said that this happens when the battery is low. Been charging it for days now with no avail. Now its either the charger is kaput, highly unlikely as i've only charged it 4 times, or something else is wrong, anybody help me with this?

also if it is the charger, anyone know where to get one, there arent even any listed on the PB website.

    Thanks

No I looked into the Packard bell website, its just packardbell.com. I couldnt find any accessories at all though, they only list the mp3 player on its own.

how old is it? If its new (it sounds like it), maybe try return it for a refund/replacement. If its over 18 months, the battery could be dead. There is also a problem with li-ion's where the battery can break if its turned on too much with nothing left in the battery.

astrofool....that could be the problem, ive tried loads of times now to turn it on and had it charging for 24 hours the other day. Only problem is it wqas bought for me in Scotland, gonna be a bit difficult to return, was only bought in december though.

Alot of these have come back faulty, i'd say theres a recognised problem at this stage...Packard Bell should still honour the warranty in Ireland AFAIK
