usb active light flashing normal?

Ok ive recently tried to get my eircom bb up on a new ethernet card. With many failed attempts ive gone back to usb as when ethernet was working pings were the very same as usb so its no biggie tbh. Now that im back on usb im just wondering should the usb active light flash on and off on the eircom netopia modem? Cant say…

Ok ive recently tried to get my eircom bb up on a new ethernet card.

Now that im back on usb im just wondering should the usb active light flash on and off on the eircom netopia modem?
Cant say if i noticed this while on usb before or not.
