Sixth Sense

Hi:) over the past few years in certain circumstances ive had what i would imagine to be a kinda sixth sense, i cant quite explain it its kinda weird :eek: i dont see or hear things so its not like a preminition. i dont always have it, it seems to arise itself at certain times of difficult situations. i would be open and very interested in any opinions on this......, mayb its nothing as i know every1 has psychic abilities to a certain extent, some more so than others but im very curious if i may be able do develop mine any further....??

Its hard to explain sometimes whats going on, because of the fear people will think you are mad! If you dont want to elaborate maybe some of the other threads may be helpful. PM me anytime if you want, Im definitely not going to judge, Im on the same road myself .

I am interested in that. Can you discribe it? I have had similar feelings of apprehension for no apparent reason. I have never been able to determine whether I was using some ability which was paranormal. I the absence of such evidence I concluded that I didn't have such powers. But I have taken tests in order to ascertain whether I have or not.

You see believing in a sixth sence and actually testing whether that is true are different things. What do you suggest this sence does?

Can you predict things? do you have abilities to tell properties of things e.g. the colour of something by touching it in a dark room? Do you think you can move things by thinking about them? Can you read thoughts of others? All these things can be tested. If you don't know what this sixth sence manifests as and can not describe how it does then how do you know it exists at all?

How do you know everyone had "psychic abilities"? I have not seen evidence of any psychic ability anywhere today though I do believe that some people in very rare instances had them in tha past (or a similar ability to "use the power of God" say).

The closest I came to believing in something strange might be present was a publication of a paper about The Mars Effect and an apparent prediction of the WTC attack on 9/11 by Nostradamus. It turns out the Nostradamus verse was made up and the Mars Effect changed the data before the calculation to include people who had mars in a certain place and exclude those who didnt so the correlation had to happen better than chance.

i supose you do have your reasons to be skeptical about my thread here as i dont give any specific facts or details as to the happening of these events, but like i say im really not sure when or where they're going to happen. i just find it quite weird and its not just something that ive noticed myself but others have noticed too. of course i would be interested to know if there is any psychic related powers in this but i dont know how to test them. maybe you could enlighten me how you tested your ability?? then i will certainly be open to testing mine and will definitly let you know how i got on.........

Judi, you must understand that you have not yet explained what you mean. I'm not asking for proof or evidence or even opinion, I'm looking for the barest description of what you mean by a "sixth sense".

Do you get dizzy, or light headed, or do you see infrared or feel radio waves or sense quantum fluctuation or can you feel the passage of the moon or know where the president is...? Do you get chills in haunted places, do you hear or see the dead? You'll have to clarify even a little bit for us to help/give opinions etc.

i'll try to explain, it's just a knowing feeling, like a psychic thing. but it only happens rarely. this is what's confusing. if i knew stuff all the time i would know im a psychic but like i say i have no control over it! i hope this narrows it down for you

Judi, i can suggest a few books that might be good for you, but can i ask did you have an interest in the paranormal before this started happening?

i dont like to think as myself as Psyhic as it opens myself up to poking from lots of people, i call myself a "Sensitive" which i love! lol
