On the usual train this morning to school, foolishly had a bowl of cereal for breakfast, which never goes down well with my stomach for some reason, but somtimes i'm just too hungry to care! So I made it as far as Howth Junction (from Skerries) and then got really dizzy an started gaggin. I sat down on the floor cos i knew i was gonna pass out, and then got sick into my mouth and foolishly tried to swallow it back! Terrible mistake... Luckily I was able to keep it fairly supressed but i did manage to get a good dose on the leg of some woman who had been standing next to me... I couldnt look at anyone for the rest of the journey, i was too embarrassed!

To the lady, if your out there, sorry! :o

**** happens, you can't help being sick - and you made the attempt to be decent about it as well and NOT throw up on everyone.... don't worry about it! ;)

......unlike an incident on the 123 a few months ago where a girl stood up in the middle of the bus and sprayed everyone in more than one direction making no effort whatsoever to even direct it downwards. Also there was buckets of the stuff...... gross...... people like that should be gagged for the good of the world..... :)

That sounds nasty, but In highinsight it is pretty funny!

It would be funny if it wasn't the train i get most mornings, and being a predominantly commuters train there tends to be familiar faces day in, day out...

i was on the bus from waterford to cork one day, and we were in youghal pr somewhere and the whole journey was going fine (bit tedious) anyways, we had just got into cork and guess what? spews all over the back of the bus. it was a flithy bus anyway, and when we got into the station we had to literally climb over all the stuff. and the worst bit is, is that once one person is sick, then everyone starts to go...
bus eireann didnt seem to care that much at all.

i did get sick on the back of the 13 bus when it used to run from parmerstown park right over to ballymun.
got sick on it first thing when no one was on it and moved from the back right up the front.
by the time it hit the city centre, it was packed, and my sick had managed to follow me all the way up the front of the bus along the ground.

was one of those lovely mornig after beery vomits too. nice and slushy and stinking to high heavan of being in my stomach for the past 4 hours while i slept....

Am I the only person on boards who hasn't puked on someone on the bus/train/whatever?

I was about 10, and waiting for communion at the church altar one morning. Like the OP, I wouldn't be the best after eating breakfast sometimes, and just as the priest came along, out it all came.

my mother hauled me off fairly lively, I tells ya :)

Or alternately, pretend you feel sick again complete with retchy noises and watch everyone scatter! :D

I've never been sick on public transport either - apart from long boat journeys (crossing the north sea takes at least 16 hours), but then always take a sea-sickness tab....

i was out the rip the night before.. i had to go to derry City the next day early.. the journey only takes about 50 minutes.. dying and hungover..

i take the risk.. i was ok until the waterside area of the city just at the traffic lights (which is about 5 minutes away from the bus station).. the bus was waiting at the lights - i vomited but held in my mouth. i decided to swallowed it... i felt it coming up again.. so i ask the woman beside me to give me a bag i was going to be sick... so i vomited into the bag.. but the bag had ****ing holes in it. :o it went all over my jeans.

arrived at the bus station.. head to the toilets and spent half and hour.. being sick. texted the woman to go and buy me new clothes.. she arrived. i changed in the toilets.

lesson learnt... bring your own bag.

Its the worst thing ever I remember being on the bus one day and I felt it coming so i done it into a boots bag I had ,the woman beside me gave me the dirtiest look ever and kept staring at me all the way to Waterford , wouldnt even ask me was I ok , I wouldnt mind but I got it all in the bag which I then put in another bag.
It was warm an iccky though.

puked my guts up all over one of the katamaran things in menorca - was just after eating eggs for breakfast and they came up almost intact - all over the aisle and it sloshed up and down the aisle every time we hit a wave. :) smashing.

actually, now that i recall, last time from last that i was over in denmark, my colleagues took me out onthe razz and force fed me at shothun point (of course!) these horrendous little fishermans friends drinks.
if you know the sweets, its this but in alco format.

well, after very very many of those, i stumbled back to my hotel, tried to steal a bike on route. fell off it cos it was still locked.
i fell off a park bench outside my hotel and lay on my side continuing to get violently ill for about an hour. fell asleep in the shower cubical for 4 hours, went to work, and spent the morning in the toilet getting ill.
got a car ride to the airport, got sick in back seat of car into plastic bag.
got short hop flight from arhuus to copenhagen, 20 minutes of getting sick in plane, man beside me spent entire journey holding hand up to side of face so he couldnt see me. got sick in arrival halls of copenhagen airport and then had 2 hour flight back to luton airport. managed not to get ill, but had the crappiest drive hom ever and didnt get up for about 2 days.

    yes.
    its true.

you simply cant buy class like me :)

Pretty scummy story ftg! Best kinda vomit's when you rush to a pub toilet and just hurl it from the cubicle door so it just about makes it.....or doesn't quite sometimes!
Oh Isoldes Tower, how many times have I destroyed your toilet floors!

I got sick into a wicker bin before, but there was no bag in it so it leaked slowly out the bottom and onto the floor (it was mainly comprised of cider).

One of my friends, on the way to our debs, got sick on the upper deck of the bus (she had drunk a six pack of bulmers in 90 mins) and it sloshed all over the upper deck and ran down the stairs too...classy indeed. But i held her hair for her and she managed not to get any on her dress, and once we arrived at the hotel she was fine!

I've been sick on the train, but I can control my vomit and have teh early warning Mouth watering. I've always made it to the toilet. one of the reasons I like travelling on the Train after a weekend away.

I've never been sick in public.

When I was about 5 I threw up into a Japanese business man's suitcase. I had been feeling sick all the way to the airport and my Dad even stuck his fingers down my throat to make me throw up before the flight but it didn't come out later until I was sitting next to that poor guy.

A friend of mine threw up into her boyfriends mouth while she was kissing him.

I'm sure some people would pay for that!

Was on a school tour in Germany in a funpark. Some fat bloke on the front carriage decides to let it all out over his shoulder as we reach the big dip. Think parole officer except german-stylee. Luckily I was a good few carriages back..
