Anybody here doing this? I've been running for a couple of years now but haven't gone mountain running yet. The IMRA have races every Wednesday night during the summer. I'm going to give it a whirl this week and see how I get on.

Yup. Its great. Definitelty the most fun form of running. The craic after the races is excellent too.

Make sure you don't drive to the race on your own. Parking at the events is THE biggest problem the hillrunners have at the moment. So carpool, or do what I do and cycle!

Bugger. I suppose I'll just have to turn up early until I get a bike.

Actually I'm working in Sandyford if anybody cares to car pool. I'll ask around at the UCD Climbing wall tomorrow, a few of the regulars run too.

I should be there around 6:30 - 7. Orange scarpa velcros and a yellow rope. I usually base my bag, gear and drinking of water under the campus board so look for me there. If Al or Niall or working they can point me out, ask for Phil.

And if ye need to get lifts, or have spare space in a car, yo can use the new Carpool section of the IMRA website.

Sugarloaf is a much better race. A real mountain race.
