The major announcements continue to roll in for Irish Whip Wrestling, as we are proud to inform our loyal fanbase of the continued successes of our local talent.

The unique, high-flyer 'The Heretic' Red Vinny has had a rookie year that almost all would find tough to top. After learning his trade in IwW's 'Lock-Up' and later 'Frontier Gym' training schools, Vinny went from strength to strength, finding himself mixing it up with stars in the likes of Alex Shane, Xavier and Fast Eddie along the way, culminating in a massive victory for the enthralling superstar at IwW's first-ever Super Show when he defeated the returning Jody Fleisch, M-Dogg 20 and Jonny Storm in the first-ever 'Four-Way Donnybrook'.

In fact, just as recently as last week, 'The Heretic' was rubbing shoulders with the likes of Ricky Steamboat and Fit Finlay while being scouted by the WWE ahead of their shows in The Point Theatre, Dublin.

The latest news from this star-in-the-making comes after a recent appearance on national Japanese television whereby Vinny appeared in a segment with bonafide Puroresu wrestling legends, Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa from Japan's premier wrestling group, Pro-Wrestling NOAH. This was not Vinny's first time rubbing shoulders with the likes of Misawa and Ogawa, as he recently appeared on a British Championship Wrestling card where the two performed. However the decision to continue involvement with the enigmatic star is a true testament to his obvious hard work and dedication.

Irish Whip Wrestling continues to strive as Ireland's number one professional wrestling promotion and carve its name as a truly international product with the successes of its top stars. Only in IwW can these kind of opportunities be afforded to the budding talent of Ireland. With our upcoming events such as our inaugural 'Gym War' (March 24th, Frontier Gym in Baldoyle Industrial Estate, featuring IwW International Champion, Seamus 'S.O.S' Shaunessy defending against 'The Pukka One' Darren Burridge) and 'D-Day' (featuring Doug Williams and D'Lo Brown, May 29th, SFX Arena...tickets available at Wrestling Mania Shop, St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre), we intend to cement our legacy as the absolute best for Irish professional wrestling.

That's what I'm talking about - I can't see any CPW student getting any opportunities like that. I mean, Blake can't even get himself booked!
