    how do you open .iso files? do you need a special programme?

    .ISOs are replicas of CDs (or DVDs)

    You can burn them using Nero, or you can mount them using the above programs. This is like burning it, then putting the cd back in.

    Finally, you can get WinRAR, which will physically open up the file for you. WinRAR is shareware that never really expires (you are on day 1076 of your 30 day trial kinda thing)

    isobuster is yer only man for windows - you can have a look inside the iso and extract individual files
