Portable dvd player with screen

    I am looking for a portable dvd player with screen . It's to keep the kids amused on long distance drives this summer...any tips on bargains would br great

    One of the cheaper players around is the Venturer model found in Argos for €149.99. It comes with a 4.5" inch screen which is pretty small.

    Argos also stock a Venturer with 6.5 inch screen for €249.99 and a Hitachi with a 7 inch screen for €349.99.

    Get the 6.5" twin screens from either Argos or Dixons in ROI at 350.00 Euro.
    (It's 320 Euro in Currys/Dixons in the North).
    Depeneds on how many kids you have whether to get the twin screen or not.
    I got one and no problems with it.
    Also includes a games console if you want it.
    Plays everything except REGION 1.

    I agree, 149.00 in Argos, we bought one last year and the kids are delighted, goes camping with us, they use it at home, Its well used.
