Just say, for example, you completed an arts degree in sociology but you realise that you actually want to be an archeologist. Do you have to go back and complete another arts degree in archeology or would people normally convert via a postgrad course? Im asking this in relation to all subject areas including science, business etc. In general, what is done in this situation?

Well you don't need a degree for either, they are not like medicine where someone might study dentistry and then decide to be a vet and do another course, those subjects you mention are vague, you just want a BA and some filler postgrad preferably in some relevant area

Thanks for that! What about in science, say if you wanted to change science subjects? eg. Zoology to chemistry, Biochemistry to Physics.

Each college has its own rules, but the key point is []byou only need a degree in whatever your employer says you need a degree in[/b] lets face it people don't go to college for self actualisation, they go "for the CV"

    So
    -decide what job you want
-look at the recruitment spool for desired qualifications
    -do the appropriate course
