Belkin 7 port USB hub - prob with MIDI keyboard and LEDs...

    Hey

    Just a quick question. I have just bought a Belkin 7 port USB hub and noticed 2 things.

    Firstly, when it is turned on, only 4 of the 7 LEDs light up, I wonder what this means? Secondly, it doesnt seem to recognise my MIDI keyboard, although in the manual for the MIDI keyboard, it reccommends plugging it straight into the computer rather than using a hub.

    anyone know much bout this?

    It means you have to plug the hub into the mains for the other 3 ports to work. Only 4 can be powered from your computers USB port.
