I've got a winfast tv2000 expert tv card.
I use wireless video senders to get sky from downstairs,
I have scart cable coming out of the wireless receiver,
I use an adapter to convert this scart into s-vid,
and then plug this s-vid cable into the quadruple adapter that came with the video card.
(the s-vid cant directly connect into the tv card, as its a quadruple socket)

The picture is pretty bad, I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix it?
The pictures in the reviews are pretty good quality

When you say you have a convertor for scart to into s-video what is it?. I would have just used a modulator for scart to coaxial. They are on special in maplin at the moment.

I convert my NTL digital this way to allow it be sent around the house ideal as you can choose the channel for the signal.

would it be the same just using something like this?

is it scart to s-vid causing the problem?
so scart to coax will fix it?
seems pretty expensive for the modulator

I just got it there, but it still gives me a bad picture.
    Is your picture perfectly clear?
If so, what are the main settings i should change to make the s-vid input work best?

Yeah but my setup is completly different, I'm only hooking up my VCR.
Out of ideas at the minute bar try all settings you can.
Took me 3 weeks to get it set up properly and get good quality.

    im always telling poeple this,
scart and s-video dont generally get on, unless you have higher end cables.
try a scart to yellow rca then yello rca to s-video
seems to process the signal much better,

and just to rule out everything,
try a tv using the wireless sender to see if thats fcuking up the signal

its perfect quality on my tv
how would i go about doing scart to yellow rca then yello rca to s-video?

i think the only solution is to use scart to coax modulator? :(

going by what you say you have,
plug a yellow componet cable into to your scart type adapter that goes into the wireless receiver
then plug that in to the pc card,
in tomshardware review theres a multi cable adapter thing, youll need red and white for the audio aswell.

this fixes problesm with scart not having matching signals with s-video
should cost you about 8euro for the cables if you dont have them
