    Hey, I posted a while ago about some trouble I was having with a 6600 GT. I tried the card out on a friends PC, and it works, so its my PC. I've asked around and its either the PSU, or motherboard, or both. I'm saving to get a new PC in a while, so I can't be bothered to get a new PSU or motherboard. Because I'm saving and also because I always have nothing but trouble when I've tried to upgrade this machine.

    So I'm gonna sell the 6600. I was thinking of buying another card to tide me over untill I can buy a new PC. Can anyone suggest a card that will definitley run on this Compaq Presario 6000? My motherboard can only run at 4X and I was told it would have problems running 8X cards. I have a GeForce 4 MX 440 at the moment, and a few dozen games staring at me that think they deserve better. So I only want to know about cards that are a good bit better than my current one.

    Also how do I find out what motherboard I have?
