Hi, looking for someone in Ireland to host Xlink Kai and/or XBconnect games. Everyone seems to have just 128kbps upload which just wont work for hosting Halo2 and a lot of xbox games. We've had some good games running off UK and Dutch hosts (sometimes pings as low as 20ms to Holland!) but it's just not as consistent as we'd like so an Irish host would be great.
I'd urge everyone to give Xlink Kai a try even if you cant host games as it is free and quite easy to set up (I'll help if you get stuck)

Xlink Kai....is totally inferior to xbox connect. XBC connect has WAY more Halo 2 hosts

That's funny, we've always had far more success joining games with Kai than XBConnect (and we've paid for xbconnect). We generally play with two xboxes on our side and even though XBConnect has Multi-box compression we get less lag on Kai!

 Currently on Kai there are 40 Halo 2 hosts. 19 on XBC.

xbconnect seems to be better at the moment, they've reduced the overhead on the system link packets. The multibox compress feature is handy when you've got 3 xboxes on this side as well.
