    Hi,
My 3friends and I are heading to Egypt end of Aug, start Sept for around 10days.
We're all 17 and we're visiting one of the girls brothers who works in Cairo so accomodation is sorted.

Just wondering has anybody been there, if so,what did ye think of it...what can i expect...recommend any places to go/visit...price of food+drink...anything worth buying there as in clothes, jewellery(we are girls after all!lol)....

also..who would ye recommend to fly with...? cheapest..?

thanks in advance for any advice/tips..
    M.

Have to say it's on my list, for either later this year or next!

Cheapest flight I've found economy for 3 people based on an example of 26th August to 5 sept is GB£322 per person which is €470 pp approx.

Thats with czech airlines from Dublin via prague. They fly out of Cork too so theres that option.
Czech are a good airline, afaik they have won awards for comfort and they dont charge for refreshments.

BA, Air France and AlItalia,Malev amongst others all fly there too but came in at more than 200 euro extra in that search.
Used www.travelocity.co.uk for the search(checked others too but they turned up dearer results)
I've used them before and they are very reliable along with letting you choose your seat too at booking on their booking page.
When booking and if you are doing it this far ahead, look for 3 seats together at the exits on the middle of the plane depending which plane it is as you will have more leg room, you will be in the air for maybe 7 or 8 hours combined.
