Okay, this poll is inspired by the fact that I am sitting beside my friend who just told me that she loves some kind of make up because it "Covers everything, esp my freckles, I hate them". I was _shocked_ by that. I love my freckles, I mean, 99% of the time I don't even think about them. More than that. But the fact that she said she hates them... just seemed so weird to me.

So honest opinions please, what do you think about freckles?

when I was a kid, I would sit in the bathtub and try to scrub them off with the nailbrush. Now though, they're part of me and they're everywhere.

I don't have the big dark brown kind, mine are smaller, but they're still there. I even have a few on my lower lip. Basically, they're anywhere that's exposed to the sun regularly and then there's a few strays in other places.

I don't wear make-up much, but when I do, i'm quite happy to let them shine through

Oh no... it's a public poll? Now everyone will know that I don't like freckles very much...

When I was a kid my face was just full of them and I thought it made me look really bad... don't really have them anymore.... but I've never liked them as a result.

I'm not a big fan of freckles. A light falling of freakles can look really good on some girls but not always. Meh.

They're nice, I guess. Anyone who is wearing make-up heavy enough to cover up freckles may be over-doing it. Besides, you see many freckled models these days.

I've never even thought about it. I certainly wouldn't let something like freckles effect my opinion of someone.

Wearing makeup to cover them is probably going a bit over the top, they're only freckles.

Personally I'd have a much more positive outlook regarding freckles, as in, not to pick on you jor el but "they're only freckles" justs seems weird to me!

I mean, they're irish and beautiful, and part of who you are.

I don't wear make up either, but if I did, I certainly wouldnt try hide them!

Much like with other facial features, freckles suit some people very well, others just look really...welll....worse then if they didn't have them!

Its funny, my dad and sister have loads of freckles, but I am freckle free....ooo, lucky me.

My Gf has a fair few, but I never really noticed until I actually started looking at her with freckles on the brain!!

I like them on women, I think there really nice, but it does sorta depend on the person. But mostly I like them.

I have loads of freckles, and then when I'm out in the sun I get even more, I wonder how that works, anyone know? I even get a few freckles on my legs in the sun, I know WTF right! Thankfully they're unnoticeable to other people unless I point them out. I really don't mind my freckles, I think I would so weird without them...

i dislike my freckles because my skin is kinda blotchy and unevenly toned as it is. i would much prefer clearer skin, but then freckles can look great on some people. i dont even have alot, just a few across my nose etc.
but then again i will criticise anything relating to me, im sure some people dont even notice.

I've plenty of them on my face, I used to hate them when I was a kid but now I wouldn't try and hide them, my skin isn't too pale and my hair is black so I think they make me look healthy. Nothing worse though then someone trying to cover them with makeup, that actually looks weird! Have to say though they really really dissappear with age, By the time I was 21 even they had started to diminished. I'm sure when people are old and grey they lament the days of smooth skin freckled skin.

I only realised now I still have them! I used to be littered with them, but now they only kinda add a bit of colour to my face.. Barely noticable.. I'm not pushed either way..

I don't think they are that noticeable unless you actually go looking for them. I have a fair few on my face... but no one ever seems to take them into account. I think they'd be MORE noticeable if I tried to cover them with make up!

never really thought about it.. whichever i suppose. i don't like them all over a person's face but a scattered few is fine. i have a few, would prefer clear skin without freckles but it does'nt bother me

I've millions! I think i've got so many on my face that they've joined together and there not that noticable.. Its really easy to cover em with makeup. You dont need to pile it on at all

Freckles are fine... actually they can look fantastic depending on the size, distribution etc.
I'm not a huge fan of completely clear and flawless skin like you see on the adds... it just makes people look so plain and uninteresting IMO.

some people just look as though they should have them, and i think it looks brilliant. i'd look weird without them with red hair and no freckles, i got really tanned one year and that looked weird enough. i guess i don't get many on my body just my face and shoulders and they aren't that noticeable either and i might feel different if i was covered from head to toe in dark frackles.

but i love my freckles... someone once told me i should get rid of them, bleach them off or something and i laughed

I've got a face full of 'em ... I'm so used to them at this stage I'd feel weird without. I find jus a lil bit o' makeup tones them down a bit, I certainly don't hide them away.

Summertime is good as I think a colour on my neck means I don't feel so freckle faced, and actually my friends envy how tanned I get with a minute out in the sun. In my opinion freckly people look healthy and natural.

In saying that, is it my imagination or are there alot more freckly women out there than men .. it's a rare thing that I see lots of freckles on guys.

I love mine! If you got them theres nothing you can do, and covering them up with heavy dark foundation and fake tan is only gona make you look like an umpalumpa!
