MS Outlook -v- WinFax

    For your thoughts...

    Ive noticed that my MS Outlook is very tempremental of late, e.g. when I start my PC and try to run Outlook, the mail program hangs and I cannot perform any functions at all, I end up having to end the task.

    When I start the machine and close WinFax, Outlook seems to open fine and can send/receive, compose and access contacts with no problems.

    Has anyone encountered a conflict between these two programs??

    All help appreciated...

    Not sure if it is still true but Winfax used to have plugins for intregration with outlook.

    Could be a problem with those plugins or with some of the new security updates in Office products.

    See if you have the plugins's installed. If i remember right they used to be listed as a seperate application when you go into add/remove applications in control panel
