    Hey all,
Going to Paris for the June Bank holiday weekend (got a really good price on flights).

Anyone have any recommendations for decent reasonable hotels?

    Cheers

if its not a bank holiday in paris, you could just find one when you arrive there. thats what i did and we found a 3 bd room for 20 euro each i the latin arrondisement (district). it might take you an hour but it probably be worth it.

    or log onto www.ratestogo.com

Great value for money but the rooms are only available 20 days in advance.

I have booked great rooms in Paris with them

you could also try 'laterooms.co.uk' - i think it would be the same as 'ratestogo'

I was in Paris in the new year and opted to stay in a Novotel. They are a bit pricey but as you said the flights are cheap enough. Novotel and Ibis are chain hotels so you know what to expect before you get there.

Parisien hotels have a bit of a reputation for being small & pokey and also a good chance of being on a 3rd or 4th floor. Not good after a few ! Choose wisely :)

Lastly, the underground (metro) is brilliant over there and no hotel is going to be too out of the way.

If I think of anything else, I'll post it later.

Out of interest how much did you get your flights for?
The best I could get for a summer flight is €100 return

    What previous thread?

Did a search for those names but it only popped up this thread. Also interested in cheap accomodation as I'll be heading to Paris myself at the end of the month.
