My Pc is slowly becoming more and more unusable as time goes by.

The problem is that when I right click to bring up a menu the mouse jerks about really slowly for about thirty seconds, it can happen in applications too.

I open taskmanager to check what was going on and it seams that EXPLORER is using 99% of the CPU when I right click to open a menu, which is a bit odd.

I use adAware and Norton but neither picked anything up.

I have Firefox and XP home w/ service pack 1 (I think ill have to check when I get home)

I could stick up my processes list later if it will help.

Sounds as tho it could be malware of sorts. Yeah, post running procs, then..
First thing, download all MS updates.
Next, download Microsofts Beta spyware app, it really is better then the rest.
Close everything including resident apps like nortons/adaware etc.
    Get off the net.
    Run the ms spyware.
    Reboot.

Post back running processes, if its something resident, it should show up then, other then that, maybe try a defrag.

get over the above and we can take it from there.
