Will Amazon etc deliver to my hotel

    Will be traveling to NY next week and want to order a few bits. Will the mail order companys ship to hotels. Anyone have any experience of this.

    give them an address and they'll ship it. But just make sure that it's there when you are, i think amazon are awful when it comes to delivery

    I have come across some mail order sites (consumer electronics stuff) that won't deliver to hotels. I think Dell US have an issue with it. Legally they can't sell certain products internationally and therefore rule out hotels as valid addresses.

    Would definitely enquire on the specific site before ordering.

    I go to San Fran every month and often have Amazon ship to my hotel. Even if I haven't arrived yet, the hotel will sign for it and it's there waiting when I do get there : )

    I've done this with 4-5 other companies too, and never had a problem.
