That TU-2 is great especially if you've got other Boss pedals as you can plug in the TU-2 and plug all your pedals into it to power them up, say goodbye to buyin batteries.

That's the main reason i'm considering getting one - it's just so economical.

I was toying with the idea of getting one of those Voodoo Lab Pedal Power yokes, but i think the TU-2 will do the job just nicely (and of course being a tuner on top of that ;) )

And it can act as a cut off switch. Very handy that.

    Yes sir, handy little toy.

Seems to have a good bypass too and no or minimal effect on tone.

i wanna get one of these BOSS ones for my electric sometime soon, but at the moment my KORG CA-30 does me fine and does all tunings

If you have to ask what a good tuner constitutes - a TU-2 will do you fine. If you're really serious about your music or gig often, a strobe tuner is essential. Unfortunately I have neither the money or the talent to merit one so you'll have to google for info :)

TBH, a strobe tuner isn't necessary. Few people have ears good enough to be able to notice a few cents, especially in a live situation. The TU-2 would do.

    *agrees with feylya*

I've seen a fair few international acts gigging off TU-2's.

I dont think there is anything sweeter than a nice set of fresh strings perfectly tuned. I have a boss TU 15 and it does the job nicely.

i'll add to the already unanimous deciision..saves a fortune on batterrys/power supplies acts as a cut off and tunes spot on with big bright LEDs ...happy days

I always found it a ridiculous idea running all your pedals off the one battery in a particular pedal (tuner or noise suppressor)

If you're using a power adapter, you can just use a daisy chain lead with that

i've never heard of anyone trying to power more than 1 pedal from a single battery source (ie tuner ,suppressor etc.)... u couldn't do it without the 9v power supply... your live shows could only be 1 and a half songs long :D

It is possible to power more than one pedal from a single wall wart but unless it's a high quality one, you're gonna get loads of noise from it.

yeah that'd do or u could go down the road of a dunlop brick
