    when i go to add/remove programs on XP there is always a few programs listed then a huge space (which can be high lighted) and then the rest of the programs like normal. But is this big gap anything to be worried about im probably being really thick or something about this but is it normal ??

    I also have seen this problem, but only with Autocad 2002 installed, maybe it has nothing to do with acad. jv16power tools was recommended to me here on boards, it cleaned up my reg very well and now everything is lined up without gaps. Not too sure if jv16 was the reason for getting rid of these gaps but they are gone now (they never really bothered me)

    I too have seen this, and again AutoCad was installed... Curious, I wonder what could be causing it? AFAIK the dialogue is generated based on registry entries, so there should be nothing in the AC entry that would mess with it...

    As far as I know, Tweakui should enable you to remove phantom entries from the add/remove dialogue, it is only sweeping the issue under the carpet but it really is just cosmetic anyway.

    when i had the problem Bulb there were no phantom entries , you can use jv16 s free trial for this too ( I also run Tweakui) and add remove plus, you correct its a harmless thing anyway
