Got one of these cards on ebay, but getting no signal at all through the positioner, connected to an SS2 card the signal is fine and positioned at a nice strong sat ie 13e but getting nothing, using dixie in progdvb doesnt move it either (moves fine using ss2diseqc in progdvb with an SS2 card).

The manual is talking about supporting diseqc 1.0 , the positioner says its using diseqc 1.2 , so am wondering if the card is duff, or its a simple diseqc problem ..suspect its the former :(

If so , anyone got a dvbs (hardware card) that you want to sell !

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Yeah, I have a Skystar 2 and IIRC, it's only DiSEqC 1.0 which would just about handle a switch (though I can't get it to do that either).

A hardware DVBs card should be one to go for. Better job and saves system resources!
