But TV3 have gone even futher, now there sponsor of Hell's Kitchen is the same as ITV. Plus the add break was the exact same lenth as that on ITV.

And since most companies like to keep things together. i.e. Vodaphone, BT, O2, etc. I don't see why ITV wouldn't push for TV3 to become ITV ROI.

Generally speaking TV3 add breaks are longer then ITV breaks.

Generally TV3's ITV shows go out either 3 mins before or after ITV.

This is not the case with Hell's Kitchen.

perhaps its because TV3 are taking the same feed as all the ITV regions, makes sense really. i noticed that the ant and dec programme went out at the exact same time on both TV3 and ITV1 last saturday. its not really an issue especially if it makes the ad break shorter

The issue being if ITV take control of TV3, TV3 will just become a Region of ITV.

I think that is a major Issue. As TV3 is an Irish channel not a british one.


I suggest that ITV move to takeover TV3 in the next 5 years. Or once the current deal TV3 has with ITV in relation to the 45% of TV3 that ITV own.

Canwest will be happy to go at this stage. If not then once ITV has control of the 10% of shares owned by the Irish Investors.

At which stage TV3 become more pointless then it already is.

This is just a futher move of intergeration into the ITV network.
