Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I just bought myself a Savage 25 monster truck and the manual says I should use 20% nitro fuel. I already have some 16% fuel and I wondering would thatbe okay to use intead? I heard you can have a 5% margin but I don't wanna take any risks.

    Rough guide ....
    5% ... expected engine life 5-10 years
10%... expected engine life 3-5 years
16%... expected engine life 2-3 years, piston, liners & conrods 18 months
20%... expected engine life 1-3 years, piston, liners & conrods are like fuel ... consumable

This is a rough guide, "experts" will fare better, raw beginners worse.
A few "expensive" engines of €400 or higher can suck high nitro fuel and deliver extreme power whereas "softer" engines deliver for a while, but are wearing out while they do so. The better model engineers know how to reduce engine wear, while still getting a lot of power from any given engine.

    So it's just a trade-off. 5%, 10%, 16%, 20+ ... choose your price/power/lifespan.
    :D:D:D

Thanks everyone, I think I'll stick with the 16% so.
