    Yes, you will also get nabbed for import tax... bumps it up by about 20% if memory serves me...

    31% +30 euro courier custom collection charge. 21% vat, 10% duty.
    no warranty worth talking about either, and laptops often need repairs.
    also e machines are totally unreliable do a google search.............1300 euro into the bin in my opinion.

    Friend of mine got a lappie of these guys last year.
    DOA. He managed, luckily enough, to get compag to fix it for him for free.
    Needed a new mobo and processor. Battery Looks like it was burnt.
    Compag put in a slower processor. He didn't complain as he was grateful they fixed it at all, let alone for free.
    I personally would be very careful.

    ROFL. Have you looked at the website - it's and AMD processor, with a Centrino logo.

    LOL, if they're clumsy enough to make an embarrassing mistake like that on their website, I wouldn't trust them

    Doesn't seem like such a bargain at all anymore. Always pays to look into these things.. plus, refurbs are often ****ty.

    Tesco in Clarehall are selling an Acer laptop with free Lexmark printer for €999.
    15.4" screen, 60gb HD, dvd writer,built-in Wi-Fi. Can't remember what chip,ram or graphics card it has.
    No idea what Acer are like but I thought I'd pass it on.
