Nero Express problems

    Have been using DVDShrink and Nero Express to backup some of my DVDs. Well everything was going swimmingly up to last Sat. Copied the Sis's wedding DVD and then tried to copy another DVD and got nowhere. I have not changed any preference settings or touched the workings of Nero in any way. Users of Nero Express will know that you add the files you wish to copy and the next dialogue box has the burn button. However that is now greyed out on me. Nero can see the blank DVD in the re-writer (Liteon DVDRW SOHW 1653S) and shows the available memory. I am using the same media, the same DVD drives and last night tried to copy a DVD I already copied to no avail. Pulling me hair out! Any Nero experts out there? Thanks

    Good luck with this problem hansov,

    I had a similar problem a couple of months ago.. where nero stopped working out of the blue - I too was using Dvdshrink etc... latest updates, Winxp service pack 2 etc etc..

    I ended up having to do a reinstall of windows...some other people here had the same thing happen them if you check some of the older threads
