I couldn't really listen to it properly in work. From what I heard though,.. nice song, decent sound to it too. Have you double tracked your vocals? Do I also detect a bit of a 'Thrills' vocal effect going on there.. if it's forced, I say lose the accent, if not.. fair enough.

What did you use to lay the track down?

it isnt forced, it was the only take i had and it came out like that, i prob could make it clearer if i have time, prob will soon ,
i didnt double track anything, used a little bit of reverb at the end,

Good song. Well played too. Didn't expect the 'strings' thing at the end! Very nice touch.

Not to be an a$$hole. But I sort of agree with the 'thrills' vocal thing. But sher as u said yourself you had only one go at it so what harm!! By the sounds of things you'd have that vocal nailed after at most 5 goes.

my voice is kind of like that anyways, im sure the next few takes will be something alike i have a sort of crackly voice when singing anyways,

gotta say cartman, i really like it, it's simple but nice, the vocal recording isn't the best but you've said yourself the reason. I'd say i'd be able to bear parting money for an album, give us a shout when you're there!

i shall keep that in mind .. im into damien rice but tbh i want my own sounding music not to be like anyone, thanks for the feedback, keep it coming , im gonna record another track sometime in the next few weeks aswell,ill keep ye posted.
