ok, first up... what was the answer to the first challenge?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 456 ✭✭ceejay

I don't know the answer to the first one, but today's challenge is this:

    http://www.ourcolony.net/images/challenges/ch1900222589.jpg

In this image there's a set of letters in a square, and you can also make out a small piece of paper with a link to http://www.kristenrutherford.com, which seems to be the web site of someone called Kristen Rutherford, who it turns out voiced Durga in wav files from the I Love Bees ARG. I've tried "Kristen Rutherford", "Durga," and "I Love Bees", but they're not the right answers. I reckon there's something in the square of letters, or else they make up some phrase or other when rearranged properly.

    Here's the letters:

    T L C A L B O I L
    E O C P A Y L K R
    L O I T E M C O E
    K L L B Y Y O L A
    G A M E F I N D B
    A D U R R B S L E
    R S F S B F A S R
    E E E S L R F E I
    D A A B A E D G N

    Ciarán.

yeah - I got it. Not entirely on my own but I was nearly there. a lot of these challenges favour the US resident, but nothing you can do about that

    What was the answer?

    Ciarán.

YOURSELF - in numerical form mapped from a telephone layout = 96877353

The next puzzle is a crazy one - apparently the Gamemak8er is publishing images on 6 of the xbox community forums and only by seeing all 6 will the answer be clear.

yep i found them too! the three of the machine shots i found myself but i had to go lokin hard for the flower, "white hart" and the comic one.

well the picture of a machine with N-.......AND W-............... on a sticker is latitudes and longitudes i assume. and if we are goin west i assume it is the positioning of new york.

the poppy, comic, white hart pub pics i thik have something to do with dates or time. the white hart pub is in edinburgh apparently and its the oldest pub in scotland or edinburgh, whichever. the comic was released in 1970 and it is issue 1. and poppy day or rememberance day is on 11/11 and apparently the poppy somethin or other was signed pretty much at 11am. this is stuff ive found in other places hence me not making much sense with my sentences.

Apparently, it's been more or less "proven" that it's Nellis Air Force base (the reknowned Area 51)

Which doesn't help at all. I'll get me coat.

Could this be the new dashboard????

also has anybody got anything on this challenge?

sorry got the answer for this one, apparently if you use the Y axis to represent the alphabet, as in 1=A 2=B and so on you get 'tentodynolocruotarek8memag' where cone 21 represents the 8. this is an e-mail address gamem8ker@ourcolony.net. The reply from this addres is 'nottubehthsup' or 'pushthebutton' so thats the answer Push The Button.
