Starts 6pm on Paddy Power Poker, only 2 people registered so far. I think it needs nine to start so get your names down.

Might play this but not fully sure what its about. Any more info?

It's a €10 re-buy event, with so little players registered it will probably only be one ticket to the winner worth $500. The ticket is for the €350 Double chance event taking place at The Fitzwilliam Card Club on 30th April. Paddy Power are adding €5000 worth of prize money to this event.

    Thanks...I am going to play.

Plus I can't really play a rebuy tourney if the buy in is 10% of my total fund, now can I? :)

Talk about a run of bab beats....I was not even going to play this as I will be away the weekend its on...:D

My pocket Aces were cracked twice...only a few hands apart,My KK all in then ran into AK and 22 I fancyed my chances here but as usual a 2 come up for the set.Do you ever get one of these games were you do nothing wrong but the poker gods just have it in for you thats the kind of day I am having.

How do you lot get on...?I hope a boards player took the ticket.

I went out to a bad beat quite early, decided not to rebuy. Went all-in with a straight to the 5 on the turn (i had 3,5), river (2) gives the other player a full-house. Was doing fairly well up until then, seeing as i'm so new at this

    So close yet...

Bren and Dragon Dave did a deal. I went out 3rd in a race with A8 vs 77. Hit an 8 on the flop but Dave hits a 7 on the turn.

How did they do a deal via PPP? Just say to each other or what?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,221 ✭✭✭Davey Devil

Yeah, they both know each other.

Good showing from boards, aside from the three Dave W (biteme) was 5th, Karl and Paul came in 10th and 11th.

There's a lot of play in the format, I like it. As long as your willing to gamble preflop for a stack, the blinds don't create a crapshoot for a good long while.

    Was there many rebuys?

There was about 90K chips in play at the end, so that'd be 45 buyins/rebuys/addons, think there was about 17 or 18 playing.
