My two favourites are....

From Trinity's University Record
A guy who went on to edit Trinity News and now works as Shane Ross's right-hand man presented himself in full drag to a meeting of TCD's Theology Society and was refused entry. The headline was "God Soc Frock Shock"

From The Sun
An escaped mental patient assaulted a laundry worker and got away before the police arrived. The headline was "Nut Screws Washer and Bolts" - bad taste but I think it's the pinnacle of tabloid headlines.
