    Hows it going,
I want to put up an information chart for tournament organisers on my site, with information that is relevant to the organising and running of a tournament, including recommended blinds structures, prize pool set up and so on.

What do you guys think are the most necessary things a tournament organiser should display? Also, what recommendations to organisers in general would you make, regarding any aspect of the setting up of their tournaments?

I've seen Devores and Hyzepher's guidelines and think they are very good, but I dont want to just rob them on them! I've PM'd the two of them, but neither seem to be responding for some reason.

    All input much appreciated!

I am sure Devores and Hyzepher's guidelines are going to become the norm and if you go by them you cant go wrong.

As for robbing them they come up with the charter to help the poker playing public so I dont think they will have a problem with third partys using them.In saying that I cant speak for them but I am sure they will reply to you soon.

I doubt guidelines on how to run a poker tournament well are copywrited, just decide how you and poker.ie think a good tournament should be organised and stick your name on it!

I would rather that Poker.ie signed the IPPTC and then officially used it. I'm working on a logo right now to be included on posters etc of events that comply. I dont mind you using it or sending it to someone, but I'll be very unhappy if it turns up as "Poker.ie's Guidelines For Running Tournaments"....
