Good place to buy runners?

Can anyone recommend a good shop to buy runners in Dublin (preferably close to Rathmines)? Somewhere with a good selection of proper running shoes, and competent staff that can check my alignment, etc....

I'll be using the runners for mainly road running, 20-30 miles a week.....

    Thanks.

    See here

Arnotts can be pretty good for runners, but go at a quiet time so they can look after you properly. Although around sale times you can get great bargains.

Mick Dowling - Sportsworld in Terenure are also great for running shoes. They've a good knowledge and I've found them very helpful in the past.

I'd avoid the likes of Champion Sports/Lifestyle etc. as they tend to cater for the "sports fashion" end of things.

Another thing is to go to Aztec, they now only have stands at registration for races, they always had great deals, especially on Asics shoes, and great advice.
I would say do research and go into Arnotts, they have a good stock, and don't buy Nike that have exposed air bubbles, these are prone to bursting

Try Kenya. Qatar do their runner shopping there. :p

Consider it done. What'll it be? And where do I send it?

    :D

On the way out of the city, there's a small car park on the right about 200m before Terenure cross. It's just before the CP, on the right.
