Smurfette was a heroine always saving the day- I loved Smurfette.
You did say childhood crushes- ok, I didn't have a crush on Smurfette- more on what she symbolised- I had a crush on the ideals that Smurfette represented. I dreamt that I was going to find my very own Smurfette and live happily ever after.

Ps- the blond hair, cute voice and curvy still are nice too
