This ipod has a mind of its own !!

ok here we go again, now when I connect the ipod,u2 version,on xp home, I get (!) inside a triangle and a folder icon, I have tried reformatting off the apple site. It installs and asks me to reboot, I reboot and the same thing happens again, any ideas ? Mark

have tried everything at this stage, update, reboot ,rewind ,novenas etc, :mad:

Download an iPod updater and update to the latest firmware, let it reboot then hold the play and centre button(or play and menu button, not sure), it should soft reset, that usually solves this.
