Howe called into Lions squad???????

    This has to be a joke! Or there is a huge conspiracy against Dennis Hickie. Only Tyrone Howe’s mother could possibly rate him ahead of Dennis Hickie. Tyrone Howe was a token Ulster player on the Irish fifteen. At club level he is an average player but he does not deserve an international cap. He does not do much with the ball and his defence is very suspect.

    Compare this to a player who was an Irish schools sprint champion. Who is very deceptive and very a powerful runner. When Hickie got his first few caps his defence was a problem but he broke his jaw took a couple of months off and built himself up. He came back twice the player he was and really started hitting people. He should have gotten straight into the Lions squad.

    You really have to wonder how far does politics actually go in this game. Every player experiences it at some point but this is bordering on insane. Tyrone Howe does not deserve to wear an Irish jersey let alone a Lions. Dennis Hickie should have been a guaranteed Lion.

    Oh what a world, what a world.

    Sweet Jesus!!!. Had to check this out and then double check it again. I'm happy for Howe but I'd imagine his is on his knees thanking the god above.
