Mp3 player question

Is there an mp3 player that you can record the songs via cd player rather than hooking it up to the comp and tranfering the mp3s? Like the minidisk does?

I know that the Creative N200 has a Line In that you can connect to a CD or something else

Yes, the iRiver H1XX series players will do it. If you are getting one, be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware, v1.65. This will detect gaps and split the CD track by track. These are not being made by iRiver anymore, they have been replaced with the H3XX series. This also has recording functions but I'm not sure if the firmware is yet capable of splitting the tracks.

The H1XX series also has optical in for better quality recording. Unfortunately, this is not available on the H3XX series.
