I saw a real one of those on the beach here in gran canaria, i was so angry i didnt have a camera with me.... it was made especially for easter week, and it was jesus and the disciples at the last supper, it was an amazing piece of work that took quite a while to construct, so much planning and detail went into it.

    But truly WOW!!!

Actually you have to use watered down wood glue.
Took part in one in Maine one year. They use wood glue cause it's biodegradable and doesn't harm the beach.

well they were still making it the day that i saw the one on the beach, then i headed back home to ireland the next day.... and my flatmate told me when i got back that it had been on the news a week later, so i'm guessing it takes about a week to make it, but probably a lot longer with designing it and stuff.
