Anyone recommend a book to help with studying for Solaris 8 or 9 certifcation exams?

Have tried searching on Amazon but the reviews there are quite conflicting when it comes to certifcation books! Might just stick to docs.sun.com instead!

This may be of no help to you but... If you are working in an environment where Sun/Solaris is in use then maybe one of your colleagues has been on a Solaris course and still has the manual(s) to hand. I know it sounds obvious, and it may not be an option but the reason I mention it anyway is because the exam questions are based entirely and exclusively on the official Sun education manuals so if you know what's in them you would pass the exam easily.

Also I would recommend doing the Solaris 9 exam over the Solaris 8 so-as to keep up to date - particularly since Solaris 10 exams should be coming along soon (if they haven't already). The content of the exams (and courses) actually doesn't differ a huge amount between the Solaris versions, but a prospective employer (being perhaps not so smart), would probably focus on the more up-to-date certification.

    Best of luck anyway...
