Uggh! I am so sick and tired of the "Moral" "Christian" "American" "West" shooving their sh*t down our throat as if we were party to their "market driven" system, ask the Iraq's, Cambodians, Fillipinoes, East Tomorrese, ad infinitum about american / western / un (after trade sanction pressure) justice is applied about Freedom, Equaility, Liberty, Justice. They will have a different view point, that is if you can hear them above the roar of british Hawk, or american Apache low level fighter squads.

So sicki and tired of the complitity of the western "media", "can't piss of the powers with truth or they'll ""sanction"" us" attitiude. freedom of press with a verrrrrry small f. People need to read Orwell to know far into fiction our gov/s have gone!!!

    Hmmm...
Late 80's wannabe rocker, aftereffects training exercise, echoes of Babylon 5 and Tinkerbell, with an extra helping of schmaltz. He should be ashamed.

I'm giving it Five :rolleyes:s for extra cheesy.

I swear its a real song...... Read this marketing blurb..........

I was deeply shocked after watching America as one last week, jaw dropped and everything. I watched it again to make sure it wasn't a piss take and i'm sure it isn't but to make sure i surfed around to find out more and here's what i came up with - unbelievable

    *********
We have all had loved ones pass away and experienced overwhelming grief and sadness. A very special individual has turned those feelings into a precious gift. Dennis Madalone, a native of New Jersey and resident of Southern California, had a dream. His dream became a song, and now, sharing his song has become a mission shared by his wife Linda, family, old friends, and many, many new friends.

A few days after September 11, 2001, Dennis started singing words that provided comfort, words of beauty, words with passion, and most of all, words with universal appeal. The song, “America We Stand as One,” is an anthem in memory of all who passed away on that fateful September morning that forever changed our world. But the song quickly became more. It became a tribute to all lives sacrificed while serving in our armed services and it also became a tribute to everyone who has experienced the passing of loved ones, families and friends.

When Dennis first sang the song, the words just flowed. He started to cry, his dog, Honey Honey, started to howl, and then his wife, Linda, started to cry. Dennis knew immediately in his heart that he had been the instrument for this special message, and that the words of the song were “words from heaven.”

More than 100 friends and family members assembled to create the music video of “America We Stand as One.” A portion of the video was shot at an elementary school in Orange County. The kids in the video knew that they were representing children from all over the world. On June 11, Dennis and Linda returned to the school to premiere the music video and gave out more than 700 DVDs to each student in grades one through five.

Now, Dennis and Linda are producing DVDs and CDs to share with a wider audience. Dennis said that when they were shooting the video, he had immediate goals: to return to the school and thank the principal, the teachers, and all the kids, and to reach all the families of firefighters that passed away in the line-of-duty on 9-11.

Again Im really sorry about this.......

Well in fairness people would have been deeply affected by 9/11, take the Stardust disaster in Dublin years ago, Christy Moore wrote a song to commemorate those victims. Now multiply the death toll by 50! I wouldnt appreciate someone coming and making fun of a song commemorating an irish disaster

Have to say the video is v.v. cheesy, and that article ^ is in parts too, but ya cant really slag his motivations/reasoning for it
