    hey,
    is there a min graphics card req. for burning dvds?
    if so what would the minimum be.

    ye u need a graphics card capable of 800x600, 256 color coz thats the minimum for windows XP. other than that u should be fine. unless u want to watch a DVD film.

    im guessing roughly:

    pentium 2
    8mb video card
    64mb ram.

    would be bare minimum, might be a bit choppy.

    though, i have a celeron 450, with 64mb ram and 8mb onboard video thats plays dvds fine.

    The chances are that if you can see your screen, the video card is enough to burn/watch DVDs. The programs you choose to do that though may have their own requirements.
